Agrasen ki Baoli is also known Ugrasenki Baoli. It is Located on Hailey Road near Connaught place, at walking distance from Jantar Mantar. The architecture of Agrasen Ki Baoli resembles late Lodi (1451-1526 AD) or Tughlaq (1321-1414 AD) architectural style. Anyhow, according to many legend Agrasen or Emperor Agrasen build Agrasen Ki Baoli (which means the Stepwell of Agrasen). Maharaja Agrasen is studied to be a contemporary of the Hindu god, Lord Krishna. This stepwell is a 60 meter long, 15-meter wide ancient step well consisting of 109 steps.
Few more century before the Baoli was filled with water, but now it is completely dry out like a Drought The Baoli was constructed for storing water. In ancient time our ancestors also know we are going to suffer from the problem of water. Thua Baoli inspires us to store water anyhow we can.
